“Blaine, I can’t thank you enough for doing this.”
“No problem,” Blaine shouts from behind the bathroom stall, “Er…does it have to be so tight?”
“It’s spandex,” Sam says, adjusting his own mask and glancing at himself in the mirror, “Of course it does.”
He hears Blaine sigh, a snap of fabric and a muttered “Ow…”
“Tina is gonna wish she thought of something as awesome as this,” Sam grins proudly. “Song and dance in the gym, yeah okay. We’re dressed as superheroes. Everyone loves superheroes. This presidency is in the bag.”
Sam turns around as the stall door opens and Blaine gestures at his costume. “I look ridiculous.”
“You look awesome! Just like Robin, dude. Remember our slogan: Bringing justice to McKinley High, one hallway at a time.”
Blaine walks up to the mirror and tries to smile when Sam throws an arm around his shoulders. “We look awesome, dude.”
“You know what? Yeah! We do!”
“Come on, Boy Wonder!” Sam shouts, his voice deepening, “Let’s deliver our speech to the student body!”
Sam struts out of the bathroom and Blaine follows, wondering if it’s too late to join Tina’s campaign instead.
Right before he leaves, he snaps a quick picture in the mirror and sends it off to Kurt. At least some good could come out of this, like picturing his boyfriend’s expression when he sees his costume.
